Meet the Founder

ScamVista was founded by Banwo David BT, a graduate of Ekiti State University. After completing his formal education, he successfully served in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), where he gained valuable experience in discipline, community service, and real-world problem solving. These experiences shaped his strong sense of responsibility and his desire to contribute meaningfully to society through technology.

Banwo is a highly computer-literate individual with a natural gift for understanding digital systems, online security patterns, and the ways people interact with technology. Over the years he has developed a wide range of practical skills in web development, digital research, online risk analysis, and user-focused design. His curiosity about how scams operate and how ordinary people fall victim to them became the foundation for creating ScamVista.

Beyond formal education and service, Banwo has spent significant time studying online fraud tactics, phishing techniques, fake investment schemes, and social engineering methods used by cybercriminals. This combination of academic training, national service experience, technical ability, and specialized knowledge allows him to approach online safety from both a technical and a human perspective.

He is driven by the belief that technology should protect people rather than expose them to danger. This conviction led him to build ScamVista as a free and accessible resource that prioritizes user privacy, clarity, and practical usefulness.
